Seeing Is Believing.
Wrong
Seeing is believing. Right?
Wrong.
Just this morning, my husband and I got up at the same time - 6:47 am.
I commented, “Wow, I really caught up on sleep last night!”
But when I came downstairs and looked at my watch, it read 5:11 am!
There was a brief electrical outage during the night, and our bedside clock doesn’t reset itself automatically. 6:47 was how many hours since the outage - not the actual time!
Almost immediately, I felt sleepy. But we’d already made the bed. Might as well stay up now.
Can you trust what you see?
What about AI? How do you know if what you’re seeing is real? I’ve seen some pretty convincing images and videos that make you wonder.
How about the video of the obese woman sticking a patch on her abdomen? Two scenes later, she’s not only lost over 100 lbs, but her body is also toned as if she had a gym membership her entire life!
What about you? Seen anything lately that makes you wonder what’s real?

All the time.
My phone plays time tricks sometimes too, Vicki.
